SILVER SNEAKERS Silver Sneakers® Fitness is an innovative health, exercise and wellness program helping older adults live healthy, active lifestyles. Designed for adults 65 or older, or anyone new to exercise. Just show up and get started!
- CLASSIC - Listen to music, move and have fun. A chair is used for seated support.
- CIRCUIT - Increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance with a seated/standing circuit workout.
- YOGA - Calm the mind and body with seated mediation and gentle stretching.
TAI CHI FOR HEALTH Focus on building strength, balance and flexibility through slow, continuous movements.
Relieve tension and stress by deep breathing and practicing mindfulness.
- Part 1 - Anyone new to Tai Chi - $55 for 7 week session
- Part 2 - (Must be instructor approved) - $45 for 7 week session
ROCK STEADY BOXING Non-contact boxing program for people with Parkinson’s Disease. The mission of Rock Steady is to maximize the mental, emotional and physical potential of people with Parkinson’s. A free 60 minute assessment is required before participation in the program. - Cost is $30/month for unlimited sessions
FIGHT SMART FREE - indoor cycling program open to the community. Reduce the risk of any chronic disease you may be facing; Cancer, Heart Disease, Diabetes, Parkinson’s, M.S., Dementia or just looking to start out and manage your weight.
COOKING FOR WELLNESS Sponsored by BCCS (Every 3rd Tuesday) Is a cooking class focused on using fresh, nutritionally dense ingredients. Participants will receive recipes and samples of every delicious dish.
IYS RESTORATIVE YOGA with Chris Yovanovich Gentle, slow, still style of yoga that encourages physical, mental and emotional relaxation supported by props to enhance or deepen your experience. $10.00/class
GENTLE YOGA with Mitzi Johnson Find ease through gentle, slow movements, breath work, stretching and relaxation. Great for ALL levels! $10.00/class
YIN YOGA with Mitzi Johnson Allow muscles to relax and release the contraction held in the connective tissues. Done through passive stretching, while focusing on breath and positive affirmations. Great for ALL levels! $10.00/class
