Stephen J. Bardoczi, MHA, FACHE, HFA, CRE - Vice President Planning & Post-Acute Care
Mr. Stephen Bardoczi joined Witham Health Services as Vice President of Planning & Post-Acute Care in August 2013. He oversees managerial responsibility for 43 collaborative long term care partnerships in additon to the Witham extended care, volunteer services, business development, EMS, wellness, rehab, medical spa, and marketing. Stephen Bardoczi previously served as Senior Vice President of Planning and Real Estate - Franciscan Sisters of Chicago Service Corporation for 12 years. He was President at Franciscan Homes and Community Services for 5 years. Prior to that, he was Administrator of St. Anthony Homes for 8 years. He received his Master’s in Health Administration (1988), and a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Health Administration (1986) from Indiana University. He is also a fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Distinguished IU Alumni.
Emily M. Rogers, JD - Vice President of Support Services
Ms. Emily Rogers joined Witham Health Services in 2017 and serves as the Vice President of Support Services. She previously worked for Community Health Network in Indianapolis. Ms. Rogers earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Professional affiliations include the following: Indiana Bar Association, Society for Human Resources Management, American Society for Healthcare Risk Management, and Health Care Compliance Association.
Geni S. Klayer, BSN, RN, MBA, MJ – Vice President of Provider Services
Geni Klayer joined Witham Health Services in 2019 as Executive Director of Clinical Operations for the Physician Practices. She now serves as the Vice President of Provider Services. Geni previously worked as the Physician Network Director at Hendricks Regional Health. She has a Bachelors in Nursing from Marian University, Masters in Business Administration from Ball State University and Masters of Jurisprudence in Health Law from Loyola University Chicago. Professional affiliations include the following: Medical Group Management Association, Health Care Compliance Association and American College of Healthcare Executives.
Julie Hawkins, MSN, RN, NEA-BC - Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer
Julie Hawkins joined Witham Health Services in 2022 as Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer. She previously worked at Community Hospital North as Director of Nursing for over 6 years. Julie's extensive nursing leadership includes nearly 5 years at St. Vincent and over 10 years of experience at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital. Julie graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Purdue University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Ball State University. She also earned her credentials as Nurse Executive Advanced - Board Certified via the Accreditation Board for Specialty Nursing Certification with a focus on strategy, high-level finance, resource management and system integration. Professional affiliations include the following: American Nurses Association, Indiana State Nurses Association, American Organization for Nursing Leadership, and the Indiana Organization for Nursing Leadership.
Dan Sellers, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Dan Sellers joined Witham Health Services as Chief Financial Officer in 2024. Mr. Sellers has over 18 years of experience as CFO of Health and Hospital Corporation in Indianapolis. Health and Hospital Corporation operates Eskenazi Health, the Marion County Public Health Department, Indianapolis EMS and operates 78 nursing homes in Indiana. Mr. Sellers earned his Bachelor degree in Accounting and Political Science from Ohio Wesleyan University and earned his MBA from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. He has more than 30 years of experience in finance and was recognized by the Indianapolis Business Journal as the 2013 CFO of the Year for his efforts to improve the financial and technological operations at Eskenazi Health while also helping lead the building of the new hospital. His professional affiliations include serving on several boards supporting HHC, including the board of MDwise from 2002 until 2017.
W. Ross Strong, MD – Chief Medical Officer
The CMO role is responsible for facilitating a teams-based approach to develop systems of care via a cohesive workforce. The CMO also functions as a champion for the delivery of quality care, as quality is an overarching priority for Witham. Dr. Strong brings more than 7 years of clinical and healthcare leadership experience to Witham. He first joined the organization in 2015 as a general surgeon, quickly immersing himself into committees such as Utilization Review, Patient Experience, Physician Leadership, Credentials and the Medical Executive Committee. Dr. Strong has taken on the Vice Chief of Surgery as well as the Chief of Surgery leadership roles during his Witham tenure and continues to participate weekly in Witham’s Incident Command – helping shape our responses during the height of Covid. Dr. Strong received his M.D. from Indiana University School of Medicine and is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, Chandler Medical Center General Surgery Residency. Additionally, he is a graduate of the Suburban Health Organization Leadership Series.
Thomas Heniff, MD – Chief Quality Officer
The primary focus of the CQO is as the clinical quality leader for Witham. This role is responsible for facilitating the implementation of evidence-based processes to ensure high quality clinical outcomes. Dr. Heniff brings more than 16 years of clinical and healthcare leadership experience to Witham. He first joined the organization in 2006 as an Emergency Medicine physician. He has served Witham in leadership roles such as Medical Staff Chief, Vice Chief and Medical Staff Secretary/Treasurer. Dr. Heniff received his M.D. from Rush Medical College in Illinois and is a graduate of Methodist Hospital’s Emergency Medicine Residency program. Additionally, he is a graduate of the Indiana University Kelley School of Business MBA program.
