Witham Health Services Named #2 of the Healthiest 100 Workplaces in America
Witham Health Services has been recognized in the 2022 Healthiest 100 Workplaces in America, an awards program created to honor people-first organizations that prioritize the well-being of their employee population. Witham Health Services was named #2 out of the top 100 workplaces. “The Wellness programs that Witham offers its employees and the community continue to grow because of the hard work, enthusiasm and knowledge of our Wellness Coordinator and her team and because of the acceptance of area businesses, schools and hospital realizing the benefits. Through the Community Health Needs Assessment a need for wellness initiatives was identified and Witham responded by developing effective community focused programs to meet those needs. Witham is proud to be able to impact our community in such a positive way.” said Steve Bardoczi, Vice President Planning & Post-Acute Care.
These companies were recognized because of their commitment to workplace wellness and their exceptional health and benefits offerings. Even with many employers returning to the office or to hybrid schedules, they have had to adapt their workforces to reflect the ever-changing views of the modern American office. Increased flexibility, work-life balance, and mental health resources have proven to be common trends among Healthiest Employers honorees.
Witham Health Services provides a full service comprehensive Wellness Program. Since 2009 the program has continued to evolve for the employee, the patients, the local school systems and the community at large. “I’m so grateful for our incredible Wellness team, the support of our leadership and I’m so proud of everything we’ve been able to do so far and really look forward to the things we can do in the future for our employees and patients.” said Trina Rose, Wellness Coordinator at Witham Health Services.
“Supporting the wellness of our employees and the communities we serve is integral to our mission to improve health through excellence and personalize care. Witham is grateful for being recognized as #2.” said Emily Rogers, Vice President, Support Services Witham Health Services.
Award applicants were evaluated across six key categories: Culture and Leadership, Foundational Components, Strategic Planning, Communication and Marketing, Programming and Interventions, and Reporting and Analytics. Completed assessments were ranked with the proprietary Healthiest Employers® Index, a 1-100 rubric for wellness programming.
