Witham Health Services Board of Trustees Retire


The end of 2022 brought the retirement of two of Witham Health Services’ long standing Board of Trustees, Margaret McFrye and Beverly Newhart. Margaret served Witham for 14 years as a Trustee and 13 years as a Witham Foundation Board member. Beverly served for 10 years as a Witham Board of Trustee, 8 years as a Witham Foundation Board member and 10 years on the Boone County Hospital Association Board. Over their tenure they were involved in much change and growth at Witham Health Services. Witham expanded from one location in Lebanon to opening locations in Crawfordsville, Frankfort, Jamestown, Thorntown, Whitestown at Anson and Zionsville. With this new growth Witham was able to introduce new service lines and bring state-of-the-art technology and exceptional health resources. Witham now has close to 1,000 experienced and compassionate staff and over 100 medical providers. Our newest service lines include Cardiology, Endocrinology, Hematology/Oncology, Nephrology, Neurology, Orthopaedics, Pain Management, Rheumatology, Sleep Medicine, Sports Medicine, Wound Care, along with Maternity Center Services and expanded services in all Primary Care offices.

We wish both these ladies the very best and thank them for all their valuable leadership and outstanding contributions that have been vital to Witham’s growth and success in our community.

Witham welcomes two new Board of Trustees for the 2023 year, Brett Bayston and Andrea Castetter, both longtime residents of Boone County.

Brett has over 30 years of experience in finance and leadership and has a distinguished financial planning career as Principal Financial Advisor with Edward Jones Company. He has served on the Witham Foundation Board, the Community Foundation of Boone County, Boone REMC Round-up and the Boone County Senior Services. Brett shared that he believes the quality of personal care, the broad scope of services provided and the convenient access to top medical care from Witham all add significantly to the quality of life for Boone County residents.

Andrea is an active community member who is a senior-level leader with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She is the Chief Operating Officer for Legal and the Associate Vice President-Assistant General Counsel Information Security, Cybersecurity, Privacy and Insider Threat at Eli Lilly and Company. Andrea shared that she is excited to be able to help Witham Health Services address the ever-evolving challenges and opportunities ahead.
