Alzheimer's Support Group
The Alzheimer's Support Group meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. The support group is to help those who care for Alzheimer's patients, Witham Health Services offers this support group. Participants in support groups receive emotional support, practical assistance in coping with the problems they face and the latest information about research. All meetings are confidential. No registration is required. Please call 765-485-8120 for more information.

Birth Days and Beyond
Prenatal Education Program. Sessions are free and are held quarterly. Education topics at the event include childbirth, breastfeeding and newborn care education. Choose to attend all day or pick the sessions designed for your stage of pregnancy. Please call 765-485-8411 for more information. In-Person classes are held in the North Pavilion, Entrance B in the Community Room.
COVID Safety Information: To keep you safe during our classes and events we are keeping our class sizes small (25 people or less) and social distancing. We recommend that all instructors and attendees are vaccinated.
Breastfeeding Support Group
FREE Breastfeeding Support Group: The Breastfeeding Support Group will meet every Monday (except holidays) from 10:00 - 11:00 am in the Witham Health Services V.I.P. Dining Room. This is a recurring event. The support group allows mothers to meet and discuss their breastfeeding needs in a group setting with other mothers. Meetings will be facilitated by a board certified lactation consultant. The meetings allow time for breastfeeding infants, checking before and after feeding weights and an opportunity to gain support from other mothers. Support groups are open to breastfeeding mothers and babies of any age. There is no cost associated with this support group and no registration is required. An individual lactation consultation with a board certified lactation consultant may be necessary if you or your baby have additional breastfeeding needs.

Cancer Support Group
The Cancer Support Group is a recurring class that meets on the 4th Monday of every month. Cancer support groups are for the patient living with cancer and for those supporting a loved one with cancer. Classes meet at 6:00 p.m. at the Boone County Cancer Society. Cooking for Wellness
Nutrition is so important before, during and after cancer treatments. Energy levels, stress and more can be managed with a healthy diet. Cooking for Wellness classes meet the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 1:00 p.m. in the Witham Wellness Center. They are sponsored by the Boone County Cancer Society and are focused on using fresh, nutritionally dense ingredients. Participants will receive recipes and samples of every delicious dish. Fight Smart
Reclaiming your health during or after diagnosis can be a challenge. Witham Health Services offers a safe, encouraging environment to help cancer patients on their journey of healing. This class will include; education, support, low impact aerobic activity, strength training and chair yoga.
Classes meet on Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
Being Active After a Cancer Diagnosis
Exercise during and after cancer treatment is an important way to increase strength, decrease fatigue, and help lower your risk of depression. Activities can include, stretching, weight lifting and cardiovascular training.

Nutrition
Quality nutrition is important if you have cancer because both the illness and its treatments can change your appetite. They can also alter the way your body processes certain foods and nutrients. Education will include learning about how to eat well during treatment and continuing healthy habits after treatment.
What to Expect
Witham offers an opportunity for adults affected by cancer to meet twice a week in a group setting. Participants will fill out a health questionnaire, release of liability and need a medical release signed by their physician.
Each session will begin with light snacks, education, and support group. Each participant comes to the program with different physical challenges which will be addressed during the second portion of class; yoga, tai chi, low impact aerobic activity and gentle stretch training. Comfortable clothing and supportive shoes are recommended.

Individual Diabetic Education
Witham's American Diabetes Association (ADA) recognized Diabetic Education is designed for people with pre-diabetes, diabetes, or gestational diabetes. Date/Times are flexible depending on your schedule and needs. Class content varies per individual assessment and doctor's order. Classes are held at Witham Health Services in Lebanon and at our Anson location. Registration is required and a physician referral is needed. The fee for these classes is covered by Medicare, Medicaid and some Commercial Payors. Please call 765-485-8120 to set up a time.

Maternity Tours
Come visit our Maternity Center. The Witham Maternity Center offers a homelike setting for labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum care. With experienced nurses working with you and your partner, it's an atmosphere specially designed to make your experience personal, comfortable and memorable. Pedaling for Parkinson's
Witham Health Services is proud to announce a new program that you can’t find anywhere else in Central Indiana. Pedaling for Parkinson’s is a stationary cycling program based on the research performed by Dr. Jay Albert at the Cleveland Clinic. The Pedaling for Parkinson’s program is a form of “Forced Exercise” on an indoor bicycle. Participants have shown improvement in their Parkinson’s related symptoms by as much as 35%. The mission of this program is to help improve the quality of life of people living with Parkinson’s disease. In addition, Pedaling for Parkinson’s provides information for patients and caregivers, and the general public about the benefits of maintaining an active lifestyle after a Parkinson’s diagnosis. Participants ride for 1 hour - a 10 minute warm up at 60 RPM, followed by 40 minutes at 80 to 90 RPM, and a 10 minute cool down. Prenatal Yoga
The prenatal yoga class is a specialized yoga class that focuses on supporting a pregnant person through the trimesters, while preparing them for birth and the post-partum period. Prenatal yoga fosters a sense of community and allows pregnant people to connect and share their journey in a safe atmosphere. Modifications of poses for various ailments and those that support physical changes unique to pregnancy will be offered. Students will also practice breathing and relaxation exercises that can assist in managing perinatal mental health, labor and birth.
Rock Steady Boxing
Rock Steady Boxing is a non-contact boxing program for people with Parkinson's Disease. The mission of Rock Steady Boxing is to maximize the mental, emotional and physical potential of people with Parkinson's. It may sound surprising, but this non-contact boxing inspired fitness routine is dramatically improving the ability of people with Parkinson's. The program involves regular exercises such as stretching, bicycling, running, jump-roping, push-ups, balancing and lots of non-contact boxing, led by experienced trainers/coaches.For class schedule and times please call the Wellness Department at 765-485-8126.

Silver Sneakers
The SilverSneakers® Fitness Program is an innovative health, exercise and wellness program helping older adults live healthy, active lifestyles. Designed for older adults, 65 or older, or anyone new to exercise.
Classic- Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
Circuit- Combine fun and fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper-body strength work using hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, head-to-toe stretching, and complete relaxation in a comfortable position.

Tai Chi for Health Part 1
This 7 week session meets on Tuesday's from 10:00 am - 11:00 am and costs $55. The first class is free to anyone who would like to come and check it out!
