Witham Memorial Hospital 1915-2015,"Committed to Others Through Service and Example", a commemorative book celebrating Witham's 100 years a century to remember - a future to celebrate. This wonderful book is full of history, facts, pictures, testimonials and memories the community will treasure. It is for sale for $15 in the Waterfall's Edge Gift Shop located at the main entrance to the hospital. The Gift Shop is open on Monday through Friday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sundays from 12:30 - 4 p.m.

The book is a brief history of a long and dedicated pilgrimage by thousands of people. Men and women who have dedicated time, service and money to serve the needs of a community. There isn't any way to capture all the efforts, deeds, and stories that went into the life of this organization, but we have tried to capture those that we could document and/or remember. It is our hope that we have collected enough to share with you the strong realities of this journey.

One hundred years is a major triumph for any organization, and for a Health Care organization, it is even more so. Constant change, difficult regulations, and massive consolidation has made Health Care an extremely complex and difficult societal need. It has only been through the dedication and perseverance of community members that such a unique, strong and diverse organization has survived.

We are proud and pleased to bring you Witham Memorial Hospital's "Committed to Others through Service & Example", a story about our heritage, a story about one Health Care organization, a story about you.
